Toasted Obama

The word from the oligarchy is that toasted Obama is going to be pushed off a cliff. It seems that Obama's reply is that they can, just "keep on using me, until they use me up" as the old Bill Withers song went. A sad story, Harlem dudes. London Financial Times Washington Bureau Chief Edward Luce wrote of "Mr Obama's rapid fall ... lame duck president ... humiliation in Massachusetts ... suddenly a weaker president ... Mr Obama's back is already against the wall."

"In his [State of the Union] speech and in the forthcoming budget, Mr Obama must show he is serious about the fiscal outlook,... must show he is willing to look at much bolder solutions — including deeper spending cuts and a broadening of the tax base. At this, his congressional allies will squirm. If they do not, his speech will have failed."


Time to put the financial system into bankruptcy reorganization, and issue credit for productive activity. Then we need the Four Powers, China, India, Russia and the USA, to do that sort of thing internationally and globally.
