Bring Back the Bowery, Hobos

Never mind Harlem NY, bring back the Bowery of the hobos. This economic depression is actually going down faster than Herbert Hoover's depression. I hope Obama begins to notice. LaRouche has noted that "... there has been a chain-reaction collapse, of the physical economy of the world. The rate of depression in the United States, today, already far exceeds the rate of depression, under Herbert Hoover! And it's only begun." Already U.S. imports and exports are collapsing at a by year rate approaching 50-percent. This is also spreading panic in the export countries like China, Japan and South Korea.

During the Herbert Hoover depression, 1929 through March 1933, U.S. physical goods trade plunged altogether by about 80%; but imports never collapsed by 50%, nor exports by 42%, during a one-year period during the depression. The U.S. unemployment rate is also out of control and rapidly approaching Herbert Hoover rate. Remember this party did not really start until July 2007 with the first collapse of the Bear Stearn hedge funds.

Harlem- Repair Your Computer

Harlem NY, or anywhere else- you can get your computer repaired. My friends say try this computer repair service, you'll be glad you did. There's something about the website at http://www.powerbookmedic.com that is so friendly. Maybe I'm a pushover, but that is the way that I feel. First of all they offer free MacBook Repair kits.

Now in case you don't know, although the masses go with Windows and Microsoft, the people with money and taste do like their Apple products. I wish I knew the details, but one of them is that it is said that MacBook laptop computers have very good built-in security, anti-virus, and the whole deal. The great thing about Power Book Medic is that if you cannot repair the computer yourself, you can send it in and get it repaired. Other products are battery replacements, ram memory upgrade and apple power devices.

Obama Plan on Foreclosures Helps Very Few

It's coming in now, the Obama plan on foreclosures helps very few, that is it really bites dead dog doo. The NY Times admits that the foreclosure relief plan, a so-called $75 billion program is bogged down in bureaucracy. Homeowners pay $3,000 up front to get a loan modification done, hoping to get a refund if the modification fails (good luck). Next the "loan counselor" calls WaMu or another bank holding the note, and sends an application.

The ridiculous behaviorist "incentive" is the bank is supposed to get $1,000 from the Fed Gov't to go through with the deal. Big doodie smelly style---NOT! So these applications are then lost in never never land and the phone calls go back and forth. That is why the only thing that will work is LaRouche's Homeowner and Bank Protection act. You have to force a freeze on foreclosure, and instead have homeowners send rent payments until the bubble can be winded down to realistic sums to keep people in their homes. This is more evil Obama administration BS.

From the NY Times, June 29, 2009:

Yet in the four months since the Treasury Department announced the program, millions of new homeowners have slipped into delinquency and foreclosure. ... Michael S. Barr, the assistant Treasury secretary for financial institutions: “They need to do a much better job on the basic management and operational side of their firms,” Mr. Barr said. “What we’ve been pushing the servicers to do is improve their infrastructure to make sure their call centers are doing a better job. The level of training is not there yet.” In a recent interview, Mr. Barr estimated the number at “over 50,000,” explaining that precise figures must wait for a soon-to-be-completed tracking system. By the end of August, the program should produce 20,000 loan modifications a week, he said.

Tom Kelly, a spokesman for JPMorgan Chase, which now owns Washington Mutual, affirmed the administration’s criticism. “We’ve done a lot,” he said, noting that the bank has added 950 loan counselors since the beginning of the year, bringing the total to 3,500. “But we’ve got a lot more to do.” ----Good luck fellows!!!

Camelback for your new Trade Show

When you are doing trade show exhibits you really want it to look right.Camelback will design your new trade show exhibit. Actually, this last couple of weeks I have been to a number of trade shows and business expos. This includes the five boroughs of New York City and Westchester County Expo at Yankee Stadium this week, and a business expo at the Bronx Museum last week. I really enjoy it when a company has a nice table top display. That could be a little table with a very big impact on your customers. You have a pop-up on the table that can have a nice diagram of a product. A fascinating and professional display was one that I saw for a company from the South Bronx NY that puts up signs in places like Times Square New York City, and also is involved with rigging and using cranes for construction projects. Their display was very clear, and even though I am not in the construction business, it was nice to know exactly what this company was doing.

Table covers is another important element that you can add to a display. That way you have a nice strong table cloth over your display table, and then on the apron alongside the table, everyone sees your company logo. That can really bring people over in a crowded trade show that has a lot of exhibits to choose from. The Camelback Company has handled over 10,000 customers in trade shows over the years and has leading universities, hotel chains and government agencies as its longstanding customers.

Harlem, the Flu is Coming Back Soon

Despite reports in the US press of the flu going away, the H1N1 flu, the swine flu is scheduled to come back hard sometime between October and December. Meanwhile, over 30 people in New York City have died from this flu, and an estimated 1 million Americans have been infected. Harlem and the Bronx, NY, you better beware.

A good place to watch is the Southern Hemisphere, where the first day of winter just occurred. There 11 more people died in Argentina over a 48-hour period, bringing the total deaths from H1N1 to 21. In Chile, death number 8 was just announced—a 22-year-old dental student.

The danger is compounded by years of neglect of public health in the United States and countries around the world. Globalization and slave labor free trade have meant the gutting of living standards around the world.

Home Security to Keep Safe in Harlem and the Bronx

Check out the adt home security system to keep your home safe in the Bronx and Harlem NY, among other places. With the economy down, security threats are up, this is serious. Gaylord Security Systems, according to my friends, provides home security throughout the United States and Canada. Security systems can also ring an alarm when the temperatures in your home are too low, which could freeze your pipes. You can monitor for fire, smoke and the deadly odorless gas, carbon monoxide. You can have water flood sensors. You can have voice communication installed too in the event of an emergency. These are complete home security packages that can include video surveillance, and medical emergency alerts. ADT can monitor your home 24-hours a day. ADT has 220 offices around the country to help set up your home security system. Gaylord is an authorized ADT dealer. They do work all over the country, from New York to Washington State.

Harlem's Charlie Rangel Does not go for Obama Health Plan

The big shocker on the Obama Health Plan drive, is that Harlem's Charlie Rangel does not go for it. Harlem NY Congressman Charlie Rangel is the powerful chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. The word is out that Rangel pushed and voted for a bill to fund Medicaid and Medicare at a HIGHER level than before. A key provision of the Obama health care bill is to have 10 to 30 percent cuts in Medicaid and Medicare. This money in part would be a gift to insurance companies, or would be used to set up a "public option insurance company." Either way, physical health care infrastructure would be destroyed and there would be more money going into the bankrupt financial system. This is why Sen. Diane Feinstein is also opposing the Obama Health plan, and she is being attacked (!!!) by ads funded by the George Soros front group Move On in her home state of California. Remember that California is heading for no cash in the state till by July.

Disney World Tickets for this Summer

Disney World Tickets for this summer could be a real treat. I know it's great just staying in Harlem and the Bronx and hanging out, but if you can, go and get away, and Disney World is the place to go with the family, with your kids. Disney World in Orlando Florida is actually four parks in one. What you get at my friend's website are "Magic Your Way Base" Tickets and they get you into one of the theme parks per day. The best place to get your tickets is at www.orlandofuntickets.com, which has the best deals. The four main Disney parks are Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. I think a day per park is adequate time to explore, unless you are moving to Orlando!

My favorite site at Disney World was the lush garden setting called the Oasis, in the Animal Kingdom Park. It is literally alive with streams, flowering glades, waterfalls and there are animals alll over the place, but naturally separated from you so you avoid all danger. Still it is so realistic. I have seen exotic animals at the Bronx Zoo and the NY Central Park Zoo but this included iguanas, birds and all sorts of weird animals in a natural setting.

There are many other things to see at Disney World, which is a 40 square mile entertainment center featuring four theme parks, two water adventure parks, Disney's Wedding Pavilion, and other great sites around the Orlando area. It is truly a dream come true. Think, 40 square miles is an area bigger than the Bronx, so you know there is a lot of action going down in Disney World. The weather is usually great except for occasional rain, but what do you expect in Florida. Often even when it rains it is only for an hour or two of hard rain, then the sun comes out again.

Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom, the resort’s fourth and newest theme park has always been my favorite. I guess you can't lie about animals, and there are enough real animals at the Animal Kingdom for you to realize that this is very real. When you go on an African safari, and a trip to a prehistoric world, you know you are in for a treat. Naturally, the dinosaurs are not real, I guess there is a limit, but it is still pretty remarkable. Don't forget the entry garden, the oasis, which is sort of like the Bronx, NY Botanical Gardens, only bigger better and more tropical. Then you go to the lands. That includes the iconic and huge tree of life towering over you. Camp Minney is fun for the kids to meet real-life (dressed up) Disney characters, and there is so much more.

Stop Calling Sudan Genocide

People in Harlem and the South Bronx have long been complaining about accusations of "genocide" against the governments of Sudan, and also for that matter of Zimbabwe. Now we seem to be getting some response from the US Government and others. Former special envoy to Sudan, Andrew Natsios, yesterday in an op-ed in the Washington Post, told the Obama Administration in no uncertain terms that the anti-Sudan rhetoric claiming that Sudan was carrying out genocide had to be dumped, or the United States would not be in a position to prevent Sudan from being pushed into a state of civil war. "We are headed toward disaster if we don't change course," he said, and added that at this crucial time, the Sudanese people need a unified American leadership which has a policy of engagement, instead of campaign rhetoric and paralysis. Hopefully, the Obama people will listen before we get another war to put U.S. troops in harm's way.

"How do you mediate a peace agreement if you can't speak to one side's leader?" Natsios maintains that the disputes within the administration over the genocide claim are preventing the United States from stopping the slide into civil war, just at the time that a unified American leadership is essential. Natsios advocates the elimination of the U.S. sanctions against Sudan, to help initiate a set of political deals that will foster development, and help stitch the country together. Sounds like a good idea, I hope they are listening.

Harlem Beware the Doctor of the Dead

Harlem NY, would you trust a doctor who is only interested in the count of dead bodies and how much it cost to treat only the dead? Dr. John Wennberg's "Dartmouth Institute" has become the hqrters. of a sprawling cottage-industry of anti-medical pseudo-science quackery. When, on June 16, Obama told the American Medical Association that McAllen, Texas, performed too many and too expensive medical procedures, that lie came from Wennberg's "Dartmouth Atlas."

A typical Wennberg fraud is the so-called "cost of end-of-life care." First, Wennberg gathers death certificates for Medicare recipients who died during a given period and shared certain diagnoses, for instance, "severe chronic illness." Second, he adds up all the Medicare treatment records for each patient during his last two years of life. After allegedly correcting for cost-of-living and demographic factors, Wennberg produces dramatic variations in the amounts, intensities, and costs of treatment of patients across different hospitals and geographic areas. From these come the "unwarranted variations" about which the Obama health-care reformers complain. From these come the 30% savings in medical costs which Peter Orszag and the Behaviorists demand.

But what about the OTHERS, who got the better, more expensive treatment and are still alive? Or, those who simply lived longer, beyond the cut-off date of the study? THEY ARE ALL DELIBERATELY OMITTED FROM THESE FRAUDULENT STUDIES. Wennberg's statistical hoax captures the FAILURES of medical treatment, as it were, but deliberately omits all the successes. After all, what was the purpose of the treatments? So that the people would live only six months? Hardly! But all of those successfully treated are eliminated from the studies!

So you have the doctor comparing only dead people! No wonder he likes to kill.

Restaurants Wanting to Get Loans

Small Business Loans are still available in this tough economic climate. My friends at http://www.advancerestaurantfinance.com/small-business-loans.html are doing their best to make these loans available. Advance Restaurant Finance, or ARF loans can be as little as $5,000 or as much as $500,000 with minimal documentation requirements. They are licensed in the state of California, but Harlem NY should know about them too. They also have some testimonials to how their loans helped restaurants open, like an upscale Tex-Mex restaurant in Houston, Texas.

For a business to expand, unless they have been saving capital for a long time, by definition they need new capital through a loan. Have you ever heard about Mezzanine financing before? This is an unsecured debt, requiring no collateral unlike traditional bank loans. It sounds too good to be true, and of course has its upsides and downsides, but if you are trying to expand your business and need a loan, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

It's easy to apply for mezzanine financing, and the application is straight-forward. The terms are for up to 18 months, and the interest that you pay is tax-deductible. You need to show the lenders your latest bank statement, and three months of your credit card statements. ARF will loan your company from 4-percent to 8-percent of the cash amount of your annual sales. The repayment for this loans will be deducted on a weekly basis from your checking account. You can also enquire at the same company, ARF on equipment leasing solutions.

New York State, Harlem Hit by Austerity

New York State and Harlem have been hit by various cuts in public services. The MTA fare, the subway fare is going up, while maintenance is going down. After the crash on the Washington DC Metro trains that killed 7 people, this can only be looked on as an ominous development to Harlem and the South Bronx NY. It's much bigger than that, with the ongoing collapse of services in debt ridden California. And also, a June report prepared for the National Governors Association documents the gruesome California-style cuts in education (Kindergarten-Grade 12, as well as higher education), Medicaid, state employment and state employee benefits that are going on in 47 out of 50 states because they have run out of money. On June 30, 46 states have to come up with a new budget for the Fiscal Year 2010 that starts on July 1. The states are facing a $121 billion shortfall, at the same time that jobless rates are rising in the states, and the stimulus money that covered the extension of unemployment benefits has run out. Welfare rolls are up, though welfare itself was decimated by the cuts and slave labor programs going back to 1996, the so-called workfare program from the Clinton Administration.

Where to Go When Looking for Debt Relief

Everyone is looking for Debt Relief from your next door neighbor to the government, but for many people there is an easy solution. The word is that there are fewer credit card offers in the mail, but there are more hidden catches. The credit card companies want to hit you with higher fees. If you get stuck in their snares, you may need professional help to get you out again. My friends tell me the people to talk to are at http://www.debtreliefllc.com/. They listen to you and try not to pass moral judgments on you. Let's face it, many people don't understand that it may not be your fault that you have fallen into debt. You want to keep up with the Joneses. You fall behind in your rent in an expensive place like New York City. You may not be working for a few weeks, and in New York State, in Harlem, the maximum you get on unemployment is $405. So it is something that can happen to almost anyone, but it's nice to know that there are organizations out there able to help.

Smash Obama's Health Care Plan

Smash Obama's Healthcare plan, which is nothing but a plan to implement Nazi-style rationing of Medical services. We in New York City and Harlem already know what health care rationing has already done. It has closed Sydenham Hospital and other known and loved hospitals in Harlem, Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens NY. Here we gawk at the television set, seeing the collapse of public services in California, but we should know that we in New York are soon on the chopping block as well.

LaRouche and LPAC have caused White House insiders to push the panic button weeks ago, privately admitting that LaRouche's labelling of the health package a reincarnation of Adolph Hitler's T-4 program to eliminate "lives not worthy to be lived," was killing the bill. And there are money problems as well. "All I know is that health-care reform is on life support because the Senate can't figure out how to pay for it," said Rep. Jim Cooper (D-Tenn.), who is a leader of the "Blue Dog Democrats."

At the same time the Republican Party is sending out frequent emails warning that the Obama health care plan is "rationing" and denial of life-saving treatments and medications on the model of NICE in Britain. Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) said, "More cuts to Medicare? Let's not do that right now, please," warning that the Plan will harm hospitals and clinics. Moderate Republic Sen. Olympia Snowe says the CBO figures were a "wake up call" to opponents.

Why don't people admit this "health care bill" is another attempt at a bailout of the insurance companies and banks, as the rest of the nation goes to hell.

Harlem in the Dark on Health Care

What is Obama really doing on Health care? He obviously wants to cut and get rid of a great deal of it. And then there are his cohorts like Montana Senator Max Baucus of the Senate Finance Committee, Chairman. On Wednesday, Baucus announced that he would cut $600 billion from his measure, after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said his policy would cost $1.6 trillion, rather than $1 trillion previously expected. According to the Hill, several members of Baucus's own Finance Committee said they had not seen the CBO report that Baucus will use to scale down — or eliminate — proposals on the negotiating table.

Since Baucus has been in regular contact with the CBO in recent weeks, the Hill reports that some observers questioned whether the $1.6 trillion price tag was really a surprise, and speculated that he could be using the amount to justify further cuts. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said: "This is the most incredible markup I've ever seen in my entire time at the United States Senate and in Congress. It is a joke if we run through this stack of papers here."

Whether you like McCain or not, he is right. Don't let Harlem and the South Bronx NY get fooled again.

Want a New Mortgage or a Short Sale Deal?

Trying to get a new mortgage on one of these fancy Harlem NY flats on sale? Mortgage Leads may fill the bill. You can find out what mortgages are on the market and what banks are still in the running. Of course, it's not the same thing as before. You can't have a tiny income and make up a story about how you are making a self-employment income on the side and doing great. Anyway, you want to get a mortgage that you can really pay, because the days of real estate always going up, and always being sell-able are over. What we are talking about here is getting your fancy Harlem flat and actually living in the place. How's that for a traditional point of view? So look at all the categories. There are short sales, loan modifications and so on. You can even find motivated sellers who need a deal right away, if you have the cash, Mr. Shaft. Superfly is on the rise now, if you can get that deal for your honey with that money.

Social Security and Obama Tales

President Obama claims that he "stands firmly opposed to privatization and rejects the notion that the future of hard-working Americans should be left to the fluctuations of financial markets." That's from his website, but there is more to the story, my Harlem and South Bronx NY friends.

Office of Management and Budget director Peter Orszag contradicted that White House statement in an article he wrote on U.S. health-care reform, which was published in the June 16 edition of Britain's Financial Times. Always telling the real story to our former (till 1776) colonial power, the British Empire, and British Financial Empire. "This is not the end of our commitment to fiscal responsibility. Once health-care reform is in place, the US can then focus on other aspects of fiscal sustainability, including Social Security reform." Bad news, huh?

Is Orszag simply stating his own bean-counter opinions? Not likely. Conservative writer David Brooks reported in his March 6, 2009 column, on conversations he'd had with "four senior members" of the Obama Administration, after an earlier column, in which he'd said "that the Obama budget is a liberal, big government document that should make moderates nervous." Brooks's March 6 column summarized numerous arguments made against him by those anonymous "senior members." After reporting a point about Obama being committed to bringing down the deficit, the "senior members" are reported by Brooks to have said, "He [Pres. Obama] is extremely committed to entitlement reform and is plotting politically feasible ways to reduce Social Security as well as health spending."

Sounds like another plan to steal more from the lower 90-percent after they steal your health care too.

Save on Harlem NY Photographers

Calling up the Yellow Pages and getting a photographer for your Wedding or other event can be a bit earth-shaking. It can cost a lot of money. Then on the other hand there are lots of Photography Jobs where the people having the event would like a professional job done, but like to pay a bit less. This is an interesting market. Perhaps you are a new student photographer who thinks they do pretty good work. You want to get good Photography jobs and this is the way to do it. On the other hand, if you have studied, worked at photographer, have professional equipment and all, you want to get paid more than a total amateur.

For the consumer, using a semi-professional photographer can be a way to fit into your budget the photo memories that you want. It could be for a child's birthday party, an adult's birthday, or all sorts of life-changing events.

Cong. Rangel, Harlem Beware of New Health Plan

Cong. Rangel and Harlem NY better beware of the new Obama Health plan. Cutting the health care of poor community because they are "inefficient" will only lead to mass death.

Let's look at the Texas town of McAllen, near the border with Mexico. McAllen has been under attack by Obama and company for inefficient use of health care. "Doctors [in McAllen, TX] say the criticism is grossly unfair and have written an open letter to the president, asking him to meet McAllen's doctors face to face," reported the CBS evening news June 15, after President Obama had used his AMA presentation to single out the town for being the most expensive center for health-care in the nation.

According to Larouche Pac, McAllen sits in the poorest metro area in the nation, with the lowest number of doctors per capita, and one of the unhealthiest populations, with high rates of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Add to that a large number of uninsured patients — from Texas and Mexico — and medical costs soar.

Data amassed by the U.S.-Mexico Border Health Commission and presented at the conference, showed that if the 24 U.S. counties along the border were made the 51st state, that border state would be: second in the incidence of tuberculosis, third in deaths due to hepatitis, and fifth in diabetes-related deathser or wastewater systems — obvious breeding grounds for infectious and other diseases. Do you really want to cut health care costs in poor communities?

Harlem, Get away in Sunny Portugal

Hey Harlem dudes, this is a pretty cool, as in cold summer. Why not get away in Sunny Portugal and there is also cheap car hire portugal. There are a lot of great deals to find out about. You can hire a car at lots of location including many towns and airports.

Lisbon is known as a world class city, but there are lots of smaller places to go to. Have you ever gone to Coimbra? Coimbra is only a short drive from the capital, Lisbon, or in Portuguese it is called Lisboa. You can also take the train there and hire at car. Coimbra is known for its beautiful manor homes and palaces from the 17th century for you to drive around and visit at your leisure. Also there are the magnificent Roman Ruins at Conimbriga, a fully excavated Roman site that goes back 2,000 years to the reign of Emperor Augustus. Towards the coast you will hit the ocean and the wonderful beach resort of Figueira da Foz which is a wonderful resort town with a 16th Century fort for you to visit.
And don't forget to check out cheap hotel/flights deals to Portugal.

From Harlem NY to McAllen Tex and Health Care

Mr. (or so-called Doctor) Atul Gawande is a hack for the New Hampshire based- Dartmouth Study, which is pushing the line that health care costs have to come down to the level of the cheapest zip code in the United States. How many people will this kill in the "expensive" health care havens of the South Bronx NY and Harlem? Gawande's beloved Darthmouth Study is in turn is a model based on British NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) the UK health care rationing unit set up in 1998. Now we have the situation where President Obama insists on $2 trillion or more in health care cuts over the next 10 years. Meanwhile 1. A huge influenza pandemic is widely forecast to hit in about October or a few months later 2. In the depression millions of people are losing their employer medical care and being forced on Medicaid. Does that mean that you have to die in Harlem because the hospitals have to pay extra for the expensive real estate? You bet it does.

McAllen Texas is a border town with Mexico said to have good hospitals. They offer micro-surgery and lots of other advanced medical science. However, McAllen has come under attack by the American followers of the British NICE, like Atul Gawande. See his gossipy but fraudulent article in the New Yorker, or see the geezer to know what this is all about.

Harlem is this Nice Medical Care?

Harlem is Pres. Obama being nice to push the deadly health rationing of the UK's Nice- National Institute (of Health and) Clinical Excellence. Dig the new age acronym. On Feb. 8, 2008, the Canadian pro-life website, www.lifesitenews.com, publicized a shocking example of how NICE operates, that should make you realize that Obama is getting his groove from a nasty place.

Mr. Leslie Burke, a retired postal carrier who suffers from a degenerative motor neuron disease, sued the NHS in 2004 for the right not to be denied nutrition and hydration when he reached the point of being unable to communicate or swallow. He won the case in 2005 when a judge ruled that denying him nutrition or hydration would violate the European Convention on Human Rights. This decision was successfully appealed on the grounds that the Department of Health's head of bioethics and scientific development argued that, according to NICE's guidelines, the National Health Service must retain the right to starve and dehydrate people to death, or "there would be considerable risk of inefficient use of NHS resources." She added that "clinicians should be able to follow the NICE [quality of life] guidelines without being obliged to accede to patient demands. If that principle were undermined, there would be considerable risk of inefficient use of NHS resources."

This is the same NICE that the fascist economists advising President Obama think is a great model for a "reformed" U.S. healthcare system. Don't be fooled by the buzzwords: "cost-effectiveness" or "quality adjusted life year" (QALY). Not very nice though perhaps a nice nazi.

Keep Harlem Babies in Comfort

Conforts for Baby is how you want to treat a Harlem NY baby. And www.comfortsforbaby has a pretty nice contest too, where your little one can win a $10,000 scholarships. That's not too bad, even with inflation. The contest involving helping the people at Comforts name the Comforts brand firefly. Comforts brand is a fine producer of diapers, baby wipes, and baby formula. You can purchase these products at the following stores: Fred Meyer, Kroger, Dillons, Fry's Food Store, Ralphs, and a whole other bunch of places. Perhaps I don't see all these stores in my usual stomping grounds of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. This contest is sponsored by Krogers Store and the other's stores named. All you have to do is go to the website linked to above and make up a great name of 25 characters or less for the Comforts Brand Firefly mascot, and you can win for your little genius. The winner will be announced in September 2009, so get cracking on this contest and don't wait too long. I like contests, because even when they are totally random they can change someone's life for the better. And a contest like this is doubly fun because it involves some actual skill in picking out a new name for the firefly.

Note that Comforts produces a fine baby formula with all the vitamins, minerals and protein that a newborn baby needs. Baby formula is such a wonderful invention for the nurture of children, what would we do without it? This great formula also has choline, which helps the baby's development, and lactose, which is naturally found in human breast milk and is also known as milk sugar. This formula is totally FDA approved.

Don't Be Fooled by the Obama Jive on Health Care

The model for the budget cutters like Peter Orzag and Ezekiel and Ran Emmanuel is the Darthmouth study on cutting health care to the price of the cheapest health care area. That is like what was done by the British Health care operation, NICE, Nazi NICE, that is. Now we have Pres. Obama going to Green Bay Wisconsin, and telling us that he knows how to save on health care. Green Bay is a supposed model since they spend 25-percent less on medicare when someone is ill or going to die than say in Harlem NY or the South Bronx. But something very nasty is going on here. It seems that Green Bay is a center of the right-to-die movement. While, unlike Oregon and now Washington State, they are not giving out cyanide suicide pills, it is almost as bad. People are harassed and made to sign do-not-resuscitate orders, and living wills in which they reject extraordinary measures to keep alive. If you want to die early, Green Bay is the way to go, but Obama wants to kill you in Harlem NY as well. Time to stop the Nazi-style health care rationing. Expose the evil Nazi Dartmouth model for denying you health care. And don't get excited about the insurance card for poor people, that is just a ripoff for the insurance companies. For that, they could save 30-percent on medical bills with a single payer system. Don't believe the hype, baby. Uhhhh!!

A Great Home Remodeling Idea

Atlanta remodeling is the best way to go to remodel your home in Atlanta, Ga. and surrounding areas. Let's face it, with the real estate problems you want to make your real estate the best you can. The holy trinity of home remodeling to increase the value of your home is work on the bathroom, the bedroom and the kitchen. Of course if you are interested there are lots more areas of the home to fix and remodel if that is what you desire to do.

Home remodeling is the hot thing in the downtrend. Homeowners are staying put whether they like it or not and not moving around as much. With the nation's aging housing stock, the have to keep an eye on the quality of your job. But home age aside, people are adding on, and remodeling their homes. It's a natural thing to spend money and make your home as nice as you can. Even if you work hard, you have to be at home at night and on the weekends. Large remodeling projects from complete kitchen remodeling to the addition of several rooms, are part of the mix. One of the most exciting jobs is to add a new floor to your house, even though that means you have to lift the roof, at least for a few hours. Better hope that it does not rain.

If you're planning on making improvements to your home, don't feel like you're weird or something. If you’re planning to do some remodeling think it over carefully. You have to have a good plan and decide what you can really do on your own, and what you need professional help to accomplish. So let the remodeling begin. Summertime is the best time to do it, so try your best to do it right, and remember, whatever you do, make sure that you have fun.

Lawyer Blues Time again, New York

It's my lawyer blues time again, New York. They actually weren't that bad, except when they transfer your call out of the NY City office to Westchester and brilliant things like that. There are a lot of legal cases involving the FCPA, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, so they are looking for NY Lawyers who know Spanish, French, or even Mandarin Chinese and are able to go through tons of documents looking for Mr. Goodbar. In legalese that means building up your excuse to indict.

Yuppee Phone says talk to Jordan, Iraq

Hey Harlem, do you have any of your family hanging out in Jordan or Iraq? Well, with YupeePhone you can talk to them a lot cheaper. With still 100,000+ US service men and women in Iraq, plus probably as many there and in Jordan as private contractors for the government, that is a lot of people that you want to talk to.

You can sign up for 2000 minutes every month calls to landlines. For a mere price of $24.95 you can talk to people for 2000 minutes to landlines in Iraq and Jordan and also about 24 other countries. Check out my friend's website and get more of the juicy details, at www.yupeephone.com/iraq-jordan/. They also have plans for unlimited calling to Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. Then you have the additional juicy detail of unlimited calling within network. Yupee Phone users can talk to each other for free.

Harlem and Health Care and Obama

We have this new consensus for health care reform coming from the Obama administration. But what is it about? In France, the government is moving to have vaccines against a potentially lethal swine flu epidemic this October. They are moving to vaccine every Frenchman, Woman and child. In the United States we seem to have nothing going on on the flu front, despite all this talk of health care. Why?

It is just a bailout of the insurance companies. They destroy health care. They target the 20-percent or so of the population that is chronically ill for reduced services, and a higher percentage of deaths. That is in effect what Dick Gephardt and Tommy Thompson said in their press conference. The extra money that is "saved" by killing this people is then used to subsidize insurance for a few million people, who will get health care cards, but in many cases worse health care than before. How does that work? Well, look at the 2 million people about to be kicked off of Medicaid in California. Perhaps they will be recycled as a money conduit to the insurance companies, in Obama's "Basic Health Care Card" program. At $300/a month / a person for people over 40, that can be lots of cash for little or even no health care.

Horoscope for Harlem Good Luck

Do you check your horoscope everyday, Harlem? It may not mean that much to you, but I get a kick out of it. Your horoscope may remind you of something that you forgot about and somehow add an extra dimension to your life. My friends say to take a look at their horoscope site, http://horoscopes.proastro.com/ and get your horoscope everyday. It's fun at the worst, and you never know, you could actually learn something. Your love horoscope may be associated with Venus and Mars. Remember the old song, when the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars, than ... you may be getting the love that you deserve from somebody new or from your present significant other. It may sound silly but there is a variety of horoscopes and other services to choose from including psychic guides, tarot cards and Chinese astrology.

It Was Because of Gay Marriage

NY Senate Democrats demanded gay marriage. What they got instead is the loss of their NY Senate Majority. Pedro Espada has been one of the senators from the Bronx that did not buy the gay marriage deal, and has been a little tired of having it stuck in his face. He was joined by Hiram Monserrate of Queens who also defected. On the sidelines and not defecting yet is Ruben Diaz Sr of the Bronx and also Carl Kruger of Brooklyn. Former Senate Majority leader Malcolm Smith was warned to take it easy on the gay marriage thing but did not listen, so this is what he gets, Harlem.

Obama in Cairo Egypt on the Mystery Tour

Looks like Pres. Obama is off on the magical mystery tour in Cairo, Egypt, but what is he doing there. I think the main thing that our Pres. is doing is looking pretty. It can't have that much to do with Mid East peace, except to add some window dressing to some of the hard work that Sec. of State Hillary Clinton and NSC Gen. Jones are doing to avoid an immediate war blow-up in the reason. I guess we in Harlem and South Bronx NY can appreciate that.

Otherwise, the trip to the Middle East of Obama is an empty public-relations ploy. He is trying to sound nice, while his minions, Larry Summers and OMB's Peter Orszag are engaged in a quick effort to cut $500 billion from Medicare and Medicaid over the next ten years and implement Nazi style economics in health care. That means defining people who cost too much as lives not worthy to be lived. Remind you of the charges at the Nuremberg trials?

Get Your Supercharger Car, Harlem

The global auto industry has its problem, but you can still get your mercedes supercharger on, Harlem, NY. When you are talking supercharger, you are talking about going fast, because you are running the oxygen into your car's motor. You get your car's torque flying away. And you can get a pontiac supercharger too. If you can't get a new car right away, you might as well use your old one for what it can get! Superchargers are essential if you want to go fast, and with the summer coming on, now is the time to do it. Every one Harlem dude is taking his pontiac or chevrolet with a supercharger and tearing up the road to the Catskills this summer from Newburgh to Monticello, that is the way that they do it. Only do you best to watch out for smokey, they like to give out those speeding tickets in the mountains. Check out my friends website http://www.superchargerpros.com/ cause they have a lot of other parts like a Chevy Impala power steering rack for only $325.

Good Health Care from Obama they say

Note that the German mercy death program killed about 250,000 German Citizens during World War II, from 1939 to 1945. Those classified as Jews were not at that point classified as German Citizens anymore. So before you get into the Obama Health care groove my Harlem and South Bronx NY friends, think what are the consequences of slashing Medicare and Medicaid by $300 billion, that is- by half, over ten years.

It is true that the administration is seeking to ration care. It is not true that Obama is seeking a single-payer system. Obama seems to be seeking the worst of both worlds. He does not want an efficient single-payer system, which is the best feature of health care systems in Great Britain and Canada. He does want tremendous Health Care rationing, which in the context of economic collapse means the Nazi style murder of patients considered lives not worthy to be lived. In Oregon already people are told that if they cannot pay out $4,000/ a month for the latest late-stage cancer drug, they have to spend $100 for their "voluntary" cyanide death pill. Then the Oregon physicians are REQUIRED to write "a natural death" on the death certificate of those poisoned "voluntarily."

We are told in the media that Obama has affirmed his support for creation of a new government-sponsored health plan. He says--- I strongly believe that Americans should have the choice of a public health insurance option operating alongside private plans,--- he wrote. ---This will give them a better range of choices, make the health care market more competitive and keep insurance companies honest.--- The New York Times says that ---Republicans say a public plan could drive private insurers from the market and lead eventually to a single-payer government-run system. They said Wednesday that if Mr. Obama insisted on a public plan, he could wreck the chances of enacting a bipartisan bill. The president-s letter reaffirmed his --determination to enact a government-run health plan that would raise taxes and ration care---- said Representative John A. Boehner of Ohio, the House Republican leader. Mr. Boehner is a fool ad a tool of the insurance companies for refusing to support a single-payer system, but he is right about the intent of the Obama adminstration to ration health care to an extreme extent.

Rebuilders Source Needs Volunteers, Sat. June 6th

The environmentalist Rebuilders Source, is seeking volunteers this Saturday, June 6th, for four hour shifts to help them in moving stock and taking inventory. They recycle trash used at construction sites. That can be anything from stone blocks to new refrigerators that did not match someone's color scheme. Anyway they are located at 461 Timpson Place, Bronx NY 10455, near East 147st St and Southern Blvd. You can even go there by subway or bus, the #6 Subway stops not too far away. For more information check out http://www.greenworker.coop/website_j/ or you can call them at Tel: (718) 617-7807. Better yet, just go there, and they say they will give you some free stuff to take home, like $20 worth. Shifts are from 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 6pm.

Harlem Needs some Wireless Security

Have you checked out a wireless security system? It's a lot easier and cheaper to install than the traditional wired security systems. My friends also recommend that you call them toll-free at 877-470-2751 and that you can get 2 keychain remotes with your order. You may not want to defend your home merely with a baseball bat, or even a dog. There are obvious problems with these "systems." Besides, dogs are expensive and you also have to walk them and feed them.

For example with the Copper Package you get three doors protected by alarms and one internal motion detector. That is definitely enough for a one or two bedroom apartment or perhaps more. The upfront cost is a shockingly low price of zero dollars, and the monthly cost is $29.95 a month, for a 36-month contract. Come to think of it, that is about the security system that my landlady has installed in my apartment which is the top floor of a house. I don't know exactly what she paid for it and I think she went through the trouble of putting in the wires, but I could be wrong. You get a talking command center, and you have time to push in a code if you have a false alarm. You are being protected by wireless sensors and wireless motion detectors, which all and all is a whole lot of security. With the recession or depression coming on and threats to cut police patrols, you need all the personal and household security in Harlem NY and the South Bronx NY that you can get.

Are the Banks Raising Back the Money?

The story run in the New York Times today is largely a fraud. The banks can only think of paying back the TARP money, because they are being allowed to raise government guaranteed loans. So Morgan Chase pretends to pay back its $25 billion or so TARP loans in money that in effect the money is giving it "guaranteed" on the other hand. Why is this going on? Because under TARP the bankers or banksters cannot give themselves huge raises and bonuses. They cannot steal from their banks. And what is the point of bailing out the bankrupt system unless the financial oligarchy can steal on an unlimited basis. I think LaRouche is telling Harlem just how it is.

Driving Your Clunker, You need Air Compressors

Harlem and South Bronx, when you are driving your old clunker in the hot sun, you need a good ac compressor to keep cool. The economy stinks and your new car purchase may be getting further and further away. Instead, why not repair your old clunker. Buy the parts and do it if you can, or else you can buy the parts and bring the parts and the car to your friendly local body shop. My friends tell me that they have some great people ready to pick up the phone at the http://www.discountcompressor.com/ customer service department, to make sure you get the exact part that your car needs. Another good thing about the deal is that UPS ground shipment is included in the price of the part, for most parts that cost over $50, with some exceptions. You can also call them at 1- 800- 506 -7339. For example an Acura TSX A/C Compressor of great quality is available. It's an A/C Compressor -Discount Compressor Brand New for $325 shipping included. Good deal for the summer time blues, Harlem NY.

Cuts in New York City Workers' Health Care

The Bloomberg administration has made major cuts in city workers' health care. This continues the theme of trillions for the banker's bailout and nothing for the people. About 550,000 city workers and retirees are affected. The workers are put into the webs of HMOs and PPOs and other restrictive networks and are made to pay more and bigger co-pays. This sounds in line with Obama's Nazi Health Care reform. I guess that's what they mean by diversity, now anyone can be a Nazi even if Black, Jewish, Hispanic or what-not. The Bloomberg plan with the city municipal unions is said to yield $400 million in savings. Of course some of this comes from the workers, and other parts comes from the already stretched medical system. The philosophy is evil- that of "lives not worthy to be lived." Like the Nazis were hung at Nuremburg for.

South Bronx and Summer Mosquitoes

Summer is here again and so are mosquitoes. It may be time to check out somemosquito magnet reviews. My friends say you have to find out about a product that works, before your summer park cookout, from St. Mary's Park in the South Bronx, to Van Cortlandt Park in the north Bronx faces some real buzz-y bug problems. Mosquito Magnet is a system for catching Mosquitoes in a trap. You clean out the net in a couple of weeks, and it's OK, because by the time you clean it out, they are all dead already. There is a picture on the mosquito magnet website of some guy who has a big bagful of mosquitoes. Maybe you can feed it to a pet of some sort, I don't know. Mosquitoes are pretty pesky, and if you have a cookout in the backyard or a park, they could ruin your fun. That is why I wanted to take a look at http://www.mosquitomagnet.com/advice/how-it-works/how-it-works-demo to at least get an idea of how mosquito magnet works. It lures the mosquitoes in and then vacuums them up. Or, you can spray tons of insecticide, it's your call.

Not to Good on GM for Harlem

Not too long ago, it was possible to work for GM and even live in the Bronx or Harlem. There was a GM plant in Tarrytown NY, about 30 miles north, it's been gone a while. There was a Ford plant in Mahwah, NJ gone awhile. There was a big GM plant in Linden NJ, also gone awhile. With all this talk about the bankruptcy of GM and of new little cars, Mr. Obama has not talked about some basic things like:
1. The workers pensions are being ripped off, giving the UAW stock that may soon be worthless. As Mr. Lawyer Pres. Obama should no, this is a direct violation of the ERISA Act of 1972 or 3. 2. Nothing has been said about converting idle plants to national infrastructure production, from high speed trains to locks and dams for rivers. This is another bailout of the bankers or bank-sters.

Satellite TV to Harlem

DIRECT TV Satellite is getting its broadcasts straight to Harlem NY. The way it works is you put up your satellite dish, and you get rid of your cable TV. A lot of people are finding that they get a much larger variety of TV stations with satellite TV. Direct TV is such a deal, with packages starting as low as $29.95 and free equipment when you sign up. You can actually save a lot of movie, in this recession or whatever it is, by having great TV. You can see a huge number of late run movies on TV and save the $10 a person you have to pay to go to a movie, plus popcorn, transportation, and if you go by car, in New York City, you still have to park. Get those great channels that you want like CNN for news, BET- the Black Entertainment Network, and a whole lot more. Get your groove on Harlem. And for you political types there is C-Span and C-Span2 channels.

It's interesting to compare Ms. Wu's professional photos to my little point and shoot photos in the post with the review on the BAAD performance, a couple of posts behind this one.

Calling for Contract Attorneys is a Drag, Harlem

I am calling to find out about contract attorneys in NYC. Quinn Emmanuel Law Firm uses some but not now. Anybody know about any big projects going on downtown. Come on Harlem unemployed lawyers need the work. Lots of school debt to pay. There's a lot of uncertainty at Cravath Swaine also. Maybe they are more active in Washington DC. What's the dope? Paul Weiss is supposed to be a big temp hang-out, is that true?

Going temp is not that bad for an attorney, just don't put it on your resume. Dewey & LeBoeuf law firm is a bit chaotic due to that big merger just last year, of Dewey Ballantine and LeBoeuf, etc. All these people are so hard to get on the phone, where are they? Are they in a conference or partying? Some of these firms are new to me. Is Dechert big time?

Contract Lawyers and Harlem

There is a lot of talk of a shift in the job market towards contract workers. On the bad side that means no benefits and stuff. It also means no job security. The new thing is contract lawyers, doing document review, working 70 hours a week, at $35 hr plus OT. That might not sound too bad, despite the long hours, but it is not stable.

Of course with everything collapsing we are losing life security. With Pres. Obama's new health care plan, unless it is defeated, the HMOs will continue to steal, there will be no single-payer system and worse. There will be the British system of QUALY, you are given a life quality score from your age and condition. A person of 21-years who is healthy, for him or her it is worth $100,000 to help or cure. But what is you are 65 and need kidney dialysis every week. You may have to die, a bit Nazi I think?
