Dubai World is not just a huge company, it is backed by the emirate of Dubai. One of their projects is a 9 by 15 kilometer area of sea and islands, where water transportation is the sole means of transportation, unless you land a helicopter. Dubai World may be collapsing, with $60 billion in debt not to be paid on time, but it is still an impressive operation. It may only be a fantasy in the desert, Harlem, but I like it anyway.
