Bronx Gets Tofurky Soda

Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda has just arrived at my door in a free sample. What a great Thanksgiving present? This is something really strange. I tried some of it and it really tastes like a turkey. It tastes like a turkey and gravy but it is not at all heavy, so it can easily be tasted that it really is not a meat containing product. As far as the tofurky part, I think I heard about this before. It's a giant turkey that has a duck stuffed in it. See, we know about stuff in the Bronx, NY.

I'm not one-hundred-percent sure what this is all about. The interesting thing is that the Tofurky and Gravy soda is totally vegetarian. The good part is that our vegetarian friends get to savour the taste of a turkey this way. In fact, this fragrant tasting soda has no calories at all.

I got the tofurkey soda as part of a care package from IZEA which included a really weird turkey hat. I tried to get my kid to wear it, then I wore it. He thought it was funny, but then he pulled it off my head and threw it on the floor. So the whole thing has been a bit funny, and I guess we will do a bigger rerun of it for the bigger family gathering on Thanksgiving Day. Anyway it's fun to get something for free. So what's it all about? A weird and wonderful taste? Yes I guess that is true. A new way to have fun and be silly with the kids on Thanksgiving? Hey, we like being very silly around here.
