Born of Ice, book and video

The news is that Sherrilyn Kenyon
has come out with a new book, Born of Ice, and it has a video too. I thought that meant that it would come out as a movie, but apparently that is not the case. This is part of "the League" series. I thought that they might be in a plot that means messing around in Harlem, NY, but I think that the characters are literally in a whole nother world. I hear they are in a place called tthe Ichidian Universe, where the League and its ruthless assassins are the new British Empire, so to speak.

One of the characters, Devyn Kell runs around between planets and makes sure that the planets and the people get what they need to survive in this far-away time, all throughout the solar system and the galaxy. To make it more exciting, a woman, Alix Garran enters the plot. She is a girl on the run from bad things that she does not want to talk about. She likes Devyn, or finds him to be sexy. But then, of course, the bad guys show up.

This is a very ironic sounding story. Perhaps it could be a good story to read. I remember all the old episodes of TV stories from many years ago like "Lost in Space" and "Star Trek." Now, it may be time to go back to the Moon-Mars program, and go back to the moon first to mine Helium-3. Thge excitement in the brief video made me think about that. Helium-3 is a great fusion power fuel that would be perfect for "the League," because most of the electricity/power that comes out is in charged particles. So, you can direct the flow of charged particles as an exhaust to a high powered rocket-ship. Then it is possible for the League to have a rocket to Mars that will have a one-G gravitational acceleration. Sherrilyn Kenyon's books are so exciting. Anyway, Born of Ice, and other books of "the League" may inspire us in that direction, towards space travel.
